A Morning in Kawaguchiko
I woke up in Kawaguchiko, a lakeside town near Mt. Fuji. The air was light and crisp. Outside, nothing moved fast. The mountains stood still. It was full of stillness, full of something unspoken. I had arrived in Japan chasing a little peace, and here it was, not as an answer, but as a presence.
The Garden That Said Nothing
Later that day, I stepped into a zen garden. Just gravel, a few stones, and emptiness. I wasn’t thinking about anything in particular, but I could feel my thoughts slow down, soften. That silence didn’t demand anything. It just existed. There was no noise to block out, no meaning to chase. I wasn’t doing anything, and still, I felt more present than I had in months.
Zen and the Power of Stillness
Zen doesn’t tell you to be loud or to be invisible. It teaches you to just be. Quiet, but aware. Soft, but grounded. And that kind of presence stays with you, even when the noise of life returns.
That feeling was still with me when I drew the figure for Silent Might. No big gestures. Just a calm strength. A design that doesn’t shout, but also doesn’t disappear. It stands quiet, centered, and full of meaning.
Maybe you’ve been there too in a moment where your power didn’t need to be seen, only felt.
Now you can wear that reminder.
